GOD
I believe that there is one true and living God who has revealed Himself to us in three equal Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. He is perfect and just in every way. He is the Creator of all things. (Matthew 28:19; Jeremiah 32:27; 2 Corinthians 3:17; John 1:1-3,14; Psalm 18:30; Deuteronomy 32:4; Nehemiah 9:6; Colossians 1:16)
JESUS CHRIST
I believe that God took human form through His Son, Jesus Christ. I believe in Jesus’ virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, teachings, death, and resurrection. I believe He died on the cross to atone for our sins, was raised from the dead by God on the third day, ascended into heaven, and now sits on the right hand of God making intercession for us. I believe He is alive and living within every true believer through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. I believe that no one can come to the Father except through the Son, Jesus Christ; He is the only mediator between God and man. (John 1:1,14, 3:16, 14:6; Matthew 1:18-25; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Corinthians 15:3-7; Luke 24:50-53; Hebrews 1:3; Romans 8:34; 1 Corinthians 3:16; 1 Timothy 2:5)
THE BIBLE
I believe the bible is the inerrant, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. That all scripture were written by men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit. No one has the right to add or take away from the words of God. The holy Word of God will never pass away. (Deuteronomy 4:2, 32:4; Psalm 111:7; 2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21; Proverbs 30:6; Matthew 24:35)
SALVATION
I believe that salvation, the deliverance from sins and it’s consequences, is not based on our own merit or works. It is a merciful and gracious gift given to us by God through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ. This wondrous free gift is given when you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. (Ephesians 2:8,9; Romans 10:9; John 5:24)
